2-Day STAAD.Pro Bootcamp (Kuala Lumpur , 22–23 September 2026)

Full house on both days of our STAAD.Pro 2026 Hands-On Masterclass in Malaysia.
We were delighted by the response to this two-day programme with Bentley Systems and Astasoft.

Day 1 — STAAD Pro Fundamentals
33 participants joined us for practical training in structural modelling, loading, analysis and design.

Day 2 — Advanced Structural Analysis & Design with STAAD Pro
30 participants took part in the advanced programme, with most of the Day 1 participants continuing into the second day.

It was especially encouraging to see participation from a broad cross-section of the industry, including consultants, contractors and JKR.
The advanced programme introduced many participants to capabilities beyond their usual STAAD Pro workflows — including STAAD Foundation Advanced, ADINA for advanced FEA, seismic and nonlinear analysis, OpenSTAAD API integration, Python-based algorithmic modelling, and AI-driven automation.

A particular highlight was the session led by Biswatosh Purkayastha of Bentley Systems, demonstrating how Python, OpenSTAAD and AI can be brought together to automate engineering workflows and extend what structural engineers can do with STAAD Pro.

The level of interest and participation throughout both days was very encouraging. It reinforced the growing interest among engineers not only in using engineering software more effectively, but also in understanding how automation and AI can improve the way structural engineering work is carried out.
